Opiates-Possession

If you have been arrested in the Orlando area for a violation of 893.13 for possessing an opiate or one of its derivatives without a valid prescription, the law offices are available to represent you!

Possessing less than 10 grams of an opiate is a 3rd degree felony punishable by up to 5 years in a Florida State prison and a $5000 fine. If you possess more than 10 grams, it is a first degree felony punishable by up to 30 years in prison and a $10,000 fine!! In addition to jail you may be placed on drug offender probation which will include mandatory drug treatment, random urinalysis, searches of your home and a two year revocation of your driver’s license. It also carries with it all of the penalties of being a convicted felon, such as the right to vote or carry a gun.

Possession charges can carry a stigma and can be devastating for first time offenders. Whether this is your first arrest, or whether you have been arrested multiple times, the defense attorneys of Finebloom & Haenel are available to fight for you! Our attorneys are former public defenders and prosecutors. We have over 30 years of experience in dealing with drug charges. Do not wait!

Call the experienced attorneys of Finebloom & Haenel today at 407-218-6277 to discuss your case today!
