Possession with Intent to Distribute (prescription drugs)

If you have been arrested in the Orlando area in violation of Florida statue 499.0051(6), knowingly selling or delivering, or possessing with the intent to deliver contraband prescription drugs you will need experienced defense attorneys helping you! The law offices of Finebloom & Haenel have an experienced defense team ready to defend you!

Possessing prescription drugs with the intent to sell or deliver is a 2nd degree felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison. In addition there are mandatory fines up to $10,000, and you will lose your driver’s license for 2 years.

Many times the prosecutors choose to charge you with possession with intent rather than simple possession due to the amount you have in your possession. Just having what would amount to a 30 day supply can land you an enhanced charge. Any admissions to an officer that you sell some of what you buy in order to support your habit will lead a prosecutor to upfile your possession charge to possession with intent or trafficking.
Do not ignore your case in the hopes that it will “go away.” Florida lawmakers see prescription drugs as a serious threat to Floridians and prosecutors will use everything they can to convict you. You will need a defense team that will work just as hard for you as the State does against you.

The law offices of Finebloom & Haenel have experienced and aggressive attorneys that can protect your rights. The defense staff at Finebloom & Haenel will fight for you. Do not delay. We are available 24/7 to speak with you. Call 407-218-6277 now to arrange a consultation.
