Traffic Offenses

Orlando Traffic Ticket Defense

Traffic tickets can be a hassle.  But many drivers are unaware that beyond a simple inconvenience, accumulation of these tickets can result in serious legal repercussions and expense.  The Florida Department of Motor Vehicles has instituted a points system, and each infraction is assessed a point value.  If you are found guilty of your infraction (which is an automatic finding if you fail to address your ticket or show up in court), these points are added to your driver’s license.  Without your knowledge, you may eventually find your license has been suspended or revoked due to the assessment of these points.

A speeding violation results in a 3-point assessment, and 12 points results in a 30-day license suspension.  Do the math – if you are caught speeding four times in a single year, and fail to show up to court to address your tickets, then you could be facing a month long suspension of your driver privileges.  Even worse, this suspension could occur without your ever finding out.  If you’re pulled over during your suspension, you may also be facing charges of driving without a license, a criminal offense.  To add insult to injury, accumulation of points may cause your insurance premiums to rise.

Even the most minor of traffic infractions deserves to be given consideration.  At the law firm of Finebloom, Haenel & Higgins, we can help you dispute your ticket and avoid points, fines and other legal punishments.  We assist clients facing:

–          Speeding tickets
–          Red light tickets
–          Moving violations
–          Violation of seat belt requirements
–          Following too closely
–          School zone traffic violations
–          Failing to stop at a stop sign
–          Accident-related tickets
–          And many other driving-related issues

No matter how minor the infraction, our traffic ticket defense team will fight diligently and aggressively for you in traffic court.  We have assisted our clients in having their tickets dismissed, or in convincing the court to eliminate penalties, fines, or traffic school requirements.  At Finebloom, Haenel & Higgins, we know that your time is extremely valuable, and we make sure your traffic ticket is taken care of as expeditiously as possible.

If you have been cited and given a traffic ticket, call our Orlando traffic ticket defense lawyers today for a 100% free consultation, where we will listen to your situation and explain exactly how we can help you.  The call is without cost or obligation, so don’t hesitate.
