DUI Defense Lawyers Serving Orlando; What is the legal BAC limit?

In Orlando, drivers are subject to Florida state law which governs the maximum allowable limit for the percentage of alcohol contained in the bloodstream while someone is operating a motor vehicle.  This is most commonly referred to as Blood Alcohol Content or BAC, and it can be accurately measured through breath, urine, or blood testing.

The legal limit which is used to determine whether or not a driver is charged with DUI is 0.08.

Finebloom and Haenel’s Orlando law office is made up of a team of DUI Defense attorneys possessing over 20 years of experience in DUI and criminal defense law.  Our team of lawyers has been defending DUI cases for drivers in Orlando for years.  We’re well aware of the timing and methodology necessary to prove that a driver charged with DUI was truly over the legal limit at the time of arrest.

The DUI Defense attorneys use this experience and knowledge to defend your DUI case and exploit any potential inconsistencies in the prosecution’s case.

Police use the field sobriety test, along with a portable breathalyzer unit to test a driver’s BAC.  While this information is admissible in a court case, only the results obtained from the computerized BAC testing unit inside of the police station are considered “official”.  If a driver blows 0.08 or higher on both the portable unit and on the base unit at the police station; he/she will be charged with DUI.
